ConvertXtoHD is specifically intended to create your own Blu-ray and AVCHD discs from any video. Luckily, it supports importing practically any video format, including (but not limited to) 3GP, ASF, AVI, AVS, BDMV, DIVX, DVR-MS, EVO, FLV, ISO, M2T, M4V, MKV, MOD, MOV, MP4, OGM, OGV, RM, MXF and WMV. The program’s interface is quite intuitive, so you can probably find your way easily. Nevertheless, it is good to know there is help available online, even a video guide, in case you need it.
The workflow in ConvertXtoHD is not very different from those of other media converters. You can start by creating a list with the contents you want to put in your disc, and probably the easiest way is by dragging and dropping them onto the program’s window. Then, you can arrange them in whatever order you prefer.
Good news is there is a set of basic editing operations supported by this tool. In this regard, it is possible to choose one of the available audio tracks, and even delete the original sound or replace it with another. Likewise, you can change subtitles in many ways, which includes importing them from external files. Moreover, you can extract parts of the source clips and rotate the image if it is necessary.
Although the program will probably work with its out-of-the-box settings, there are a few things you may want to change. One of them is titles and chapters, which you can customize by changing their appearance and text. Besides, you can select your favorite formats, codecs and burning speed to make the resulting discs compatible with specific Blu-ray players. more
